چکیده

The objective of this study was to determine thiol/disulphide homeostasis (TDH) in infertile cows with subclinical endometritis (SCE). Endometrial cytological samples were collected using a cytobrush diagnose SCE 36 cows. According the results cytology examination, those acute classified as Group I (n = 20) and chronic II 16). A control group formed heifers III 20). Blood taken from each on day diagnosis (day 0) analyse TDH. In both Giemsa method immunocytochemical staining applied inflammation activity status. 55.55% (20/36) endometritis, determined be active, 44.44% (16/36) it had become chronic. native thiol total levels found statistically significantly lower (206.54 ± 8.30 μmol/L; 227.11 9.30 μmol/L) cases (225.15 11.89 247.96 10.80 compared heathy (308.47 13.59 336.83 15.5 μmol/L respectively) (P<0.001). Disulphide levels, disulphide/total thiol, thiol/total disulphide/native ratios similar all groups (P>0.05). diagnostic accuracy which can used SCE, 92.8%, that 89.3% disulphide 64.3% according ROC curve analysis. These demonstrate TDH is reliable sensitive indicator oxidative stress cow abnormal might play role pathogenic mechanisms. This first evaluate dairy new stress.

Postpartal Subclinical Endometritis Alters Transcriptome Profiles in Liver and Adipose Tissue of Dairy Cows

Transcriptome alterations in liver and adipose tissue of cows with subclinical endometritis (SCE) at 29 d postpartum were evaluated. Bioinformatics analysis was performed using the Dynamic Impact Approach by means of KEGG and DAVID databases. Milk production, blood metabolites (non-esterified fatty acids, magnesium), and disease biomarkers (albumin, aspartate aminotransferase) did not differ gr...

Study of the relationship between oxidative stress and subclinical mastitis in dairy cattle

Subclinical mastitis is considered as one of the most prevalent diseases in dairy cows, causing drasticloss in the dairy industry. Oxidative stress, induced by reactive oxygen species (ROS), is believed to be aprimary factor in various cattle diseases including mastitis, but there are few studies regarding the role ofROS in subclinical mastitis. This study was undertaken to i) study the changes...

Lying behavior as an indicator of lameness in dairy cows.

Lameness is widely recognized as one of the most serious welfare and production concerns in the dairy industry. Our objectives were to evaluate the associations between lying behavior and lameness, and to determine whether lying behavior can be used as a diagnostic tool for lameness. Electronic data loggers recorded lying behavior of 1,319 cows from 28 farms at 1-min intervals for 5 d. These co...
